Korea University Anam Hospital
The uterine fibroid is classified depending on its location: intramuscular, subserosal, submucosal, and etc, and is often diagnosed in the middle and later stages of the childbearing age. Small fibroids without pain do not need to be treated but 6 month or a year follow up is necessary. Treatment plan will be decided based on patients' condition, age, etc.
