A precise examination on the patient’s conditions is required before treatment planning.
If tumor is found, partial excision and biopsy are performed If the tumor is found to be benign, it is removed through surgery and if malignant, wide excision is performed. In this case, Anticancer therapy or radiation therapy could be prescribed as well.
The patient is admitted for about 5 to 6 days for biopsy and revisits the doctor one week after discharge to consult about the test result and future treatment plan.
