- The number of patients receiving kidney cancer surgery at SNUBH is increasing annually.
During robot-assisted laparoscopic partial nephrectomy, the 3D imaging that can be magnified 10-fold allows the tumor to be accurately distinguished, and the robotic arm with the degrees of freedom up to 540° for moving in the abdominal cavity, can remove the tumor more rapidly and precisely, while preserving the normal tissue.
