Donor laparoscopic surgery is the most advanced surgical technique which cannot be performed unless the surgeon is highly skilled with extensive experience in donor surgeries. Only a few centers around the world perform this surgical technique, and is highly selective in which donor it is performed. However, Seoul National University Hospital's liver transplant teams is the only one in the world, who performs this in most of the donors.
