Kidney transplantation began in the early 1980s and has shown good transplantation results.
In particular, it shows excellent performance in high-risk kidney transplantation such as blood type mismatch and high sensitivity patient transplantation.
The results were known not only at national but also to foreigners visiting Korea for kidney transplants abroad, where relatively high-risk groups such as Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Russia are high-profile, and 67 percent of the foreign patient kidney transplants implemented Korea University Anam Hospital in 2013.
